Of course this isn't the first time this has happened. In 1989 the Sabres goalie Clint Malarchuk got slashed in the throat by a skate. He survived that incident and went on to later become the Panther's gaolie coach

John Madden "...biggest hits I've ever seen in my life"

John Madden isn't the most profound human being ever to get behind a mic, but sometimes he says things that makes me chuckle, and also make you think "you know, I finally agree with him."
Darrell Reid, a 25 year old out of Minnesota, mainly just plays on the Colts (usually atrocious) special teams line but on occasion you'll see him lined up on D. After this hit on kick returner and running back Chris Henry, I think I might need to go to physical therapy.
The best part of this video is all the reactions. Dallas Clark and even Tony Dungy does a little cringe. It's always fun to see on a meaningless game where someone just unloads on someone just to do it. I've got a bad back, and I don't think I need to keep watching this, it's ROUGH.
